Romeo and Juliet begins. If you don't have your play, there is an editable copy of the entire play below. You can annotate it on the .doc if you like.
The annotations package and the theme packages are also below.
Reading questions for I.iii (the first three scenes of the first act) should be done by April 17th. Here is a video discussion of the questions.
Your annotations and your entries to the theme package for Act One should be done by Friday, April 23rd.
Romeo and Juliet Acts 1-3 will end with a quiz, then we will move on to poetry for a while.
We will return to Romeo and Juliet after the poetry unit and finish the play. The unit final will be a compare/contrast literary analysis essay. If we are back at school at that point, we will move on to the third debate. If not, we will move on to the final exam.
At the end the unit you are going to have two choices: there will be a scheduled exam with five multiple choice questions and a literary essay; or, you can submit a passion project that you will create during the course of the unit. The second option can be time consuming and you're going to want to start soon.
For work from throughout year you have two options: Dropbox or a Deltalearns Google drive. For the dropbox you will be prompted to create an account. It's not a bad idea, but you don't have to. Close the prompt and you will have access to it. For the Google drive, your Deltalearns account will give you instant access. Any other Gmail address will require me to give you access, which is easy to do.
