Macbeth begins. Your plays are in a box in my classroom still, so I have posted a downloadable copy of the play below. There is also a copy of the annotations, the theme package and the recitation assignment.
I suggest you use a word or google document to make an annotations journal. You can summarize the annotation and give its location (by page number or Act/Scene)
Reading questions for I.i-iii (the first three scenes of the first act) should be done by the end of next week (April 15th for E Block and April 16th for G block). Reading questions for the rest of the act, as well as annotations, and themes, will be the week after.
An audio recording of the play can be found here.
After finishing Acts 1-3 there will be a quiz, and then we will shift to poetry for a while. We will use the theme packages to connect to a selection of poems.
We will carry on with poetry for the first half of May, then we will return to Macbeth to finish the play and write the unit final, which will be a compare/contrast literary analysis essay. We will use the Google classroom for this.
For work from throughout year you have two options: Dropbox or a Deltalearns Google drive. For the dropbox you will be prompted to create an account. You don't have to. Close the prompt and you will have access to it. For the Google drive, your Deltalearns account will give you instant access.
